Your student newsletter.
For the most recent edition, please see CampusLife.
CampusLife is a regular online publication that has been developed to keep students up-to-date on what’s happening at UWS. The newsletter provides students with updates on events, workshops, important academic dates and other news through a single, convenient information point. CampusLife aims to provide students with news and important information while reducing the volume of broadcast emails they receive.
Students are welcome to contribute to CampusLife. For more information, please see our information on Submitting a Story.
Your feedback is always very important to us. Please send any comments, ideas or suggestions about the student newsletter to campuslife@mail.uws.edu.au.

Students are welcome to contribute to CampusLife. We aim to provide a good balance of information across the University’s Schools, Colleges and Divisions. Unfortunately, we are not always able to fit everyone’s story in the publication. In submitting a story for consideration, please follow the guidelines below.
Publication Guidelines
As a general rule, it is more newsworthy to announce or promote an initiative or event before it takes place. If you are aware of an upcoming event that may be newsworthy, we advise that you pre-plan and draft a story for publication in the issue at least one month prior to the event. Only minimal space will be allowed for post-event coverage.
Length
Stories should be no longer than 250 words in length. Longer stories will only be accepted with special consideration by the Editor.
Target Audience
Stories should be about UWS students’ activities, achievements or university life in general, and must be relevant to a broad section of the student population.
Contacts
When submitting a story, please include your name and contact details so we can get in touch for further information.
Style
The first sentence in your story should summarise the whole story and less important details should then follow.
Photos
Good quality, relevant photos of UWS students should be submitted with your story. Refer to our photography page for more information on photography at UWS.
Submission
Please submit your story to us via email including any relevant photos and your contact details. The Editor reserves the right to edit those articles accepted for publication.
